WHY CHECKSAVERS?
WHY CAN’T I DO THIS MYSELF?

1. The computer software used
to make this process possible is very expensive, and requires a knowledgeable
information technology specialist to keep it CONSTANTLY updated...thanks
to ever-changing bank data formats and rules issued from NACHA and the
Federal Reserve Banking System. This can be expensive for a small business
that has a small amount of bad checks each month.
2. There ARE fees to process
these transactions...as a merchant using CHECKSAVERS...we PAY those
FEES for you!! You will still get 100% of the money on the original
check at NO COST to you. We simply believe that’s good business for
the privilege of working with you. Traditional collection methods require
the merchant to lose a significant amount of a collected item due to
expenses of the agency, normally the smaller the value of the check,
the MORE an agency will charge....with CHECKSAVERS, NO CHECK IS TOO
SMALL TO COLLECT, and the Merchant retains 100% of the face value of
the original transaction!
3. If you do this yourself,
you’ll need to keep updated with the appropriate state and federal collection
laws to insure you are in compliance. This takes away valuable time
that could be spent running your business. We spend ALL of our time
devoted to check recovery since that IS our business...we will follow
the appropriate rules.
4. We must do the recovery
work or we CANNOT collect our fee. CHECKSAVERS can only be paid AFTER
we have recovered money for you, our merchant customer!
5. If you had an individual
in your company handle these transactions, you’ll have the usual business
support expenses (wages, benefits,etc)....with CHECKSAVERS working hard
for you, these costs are eliminated...
6. Independently owned and
operated...we are not a franchisee or independent sales organization
representing another organization. You will speak DIRECTLY with the
individuals that process checks for you.
